Description

You will own test automation strategy and implementation across frontend and backend systems, embedded within application teams to drive engineering quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test suites for unit, integration, API, and end-to-end layers.
• Implement E2E tests for React frontends using Playwright and service-level tests for Express.js/NestJS backends.
• Build test harnesses, mocks, and data strategies to ensure stable, reliable automation.
• Define quality gates and automation standards within CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, reliable feedback.
• Diagnose test failures, resolve root causes, and continuously improve test coverage and execution speed.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
• Strong programming proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end UI testing.
• Experience testing backend APIs and services built with Express.js and/or NestJS.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-integrated systems.
• Proficiency in Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vitest, Jest, or similar JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Exposure to performance, resiliency, or reliability testing patterns.
