Description

Own the automation strategy and framework implementation for UI, API, and end-to-end testing scenarios.

Own the release pipeline and test infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript with Playwright or Cypress.
• Build and execute automated test suites for regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
• Perform root-cause analysis on defects and provide detailed, actionable reports.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA/QE experience with a strong focus on automation.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in Playwright or Cypress (Playwright preferred).
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, Axios, or SuperTest.
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with test runners (Jest, Mocha, Vitest) and assertion libraries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Strong debugging skills using browser dev tools, logs, and network traces.

Preferred Skills

• Wealth Management domain experience (trading, accounts, portfolios, advisory, settlements).
• Performance testing with k6 or JMeter.
• Visual regression tools (Percy, Applitools) or Docker/cloud environment exposure.
