Description

You own the test automation strategy and framework development for the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and utilities using Node.js, Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Groovy scripts in Jenkins to orchestrate test execution.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to validate, debug, and ensure the reliability of automation code.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements to propose improvements to testing processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated solutions into the build lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SDET roles with a focus on automation frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript within the Node.js ecosystem.
• Proven experience developing test suites using Playwright.
• Experience with source control (Git, GitHub), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and artifact repositories (Artifactory or Nexus).
• Understanding of build processes for Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (Angular) applications.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized test execution environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java-based test frameworks such as Cucumber, RestAssured, JUnit, or Karate for API testing.
• Background working in a DevOps environment.
