Description

Lead software quality assurance by architecting automation frameworks and managing the end-to-end testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement large-scale, multi-functional automation frameworks covering UI, back-end integration, and database layers.
• Drive test automation initiatives using keyword-driven, data-driven, BDD, and TDD methodologies.
• Manage defect tracking and lifecycle processes using JIRA.
• Execute testing across web services using REST, JSON, and XML data formats.
• Collaborate within sprint team environments to ensure high-quality software delivery throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 9-12 years of direct experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Expertise in Java with automation tools: JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
• Strong programming, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and databases: Cassandra, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and version control: Jenkins, GIT, Putty, and WinSCP.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Deep understanding of REST web services and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and test planning practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or XP environments.
• Knowledge of Gherkin specifications.
