Description

You will lead quality engineering architecture and test automation strategy for retail POS systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze POS architectures to remove hardware-dependent testing bottlenecks.
• Build service virtualization, emulators, and mock frameworks for POS hardware.
• Design scalable automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop custom test tools and utilities where out-of-the-box solutions are insufficient.
• Mentor QE engineers and drive test architecture best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years experience as an Architect or Principal Engineer.
• Deep expertise in POS systems and retail hardware/software integration.
• Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with service virtualization and hardware emulation.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Karate, Selenium, BDD, and JMeter.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with retail or POS modernization projects.
• Knowledge of edge computing environments.
• Contributions to QE Communities of Excellence.
