Description

Develop and maintain backend components and data functionality within a large-scale distributed system. You will own the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Java-based services, ensuring high-quality code delivery with robust security, authentication, and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve complex issues involving race conditions, concurrency, and performance in distributed environments.
• Write Java applications to validate Kafka environments, including publishing and subscribing logic.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions by collaborating with engineers and product managers.
• Ship high-quality code incrementally while managing security, authentication, and disaster recovery.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture of backend components using Spring Boot.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience using Java/JVM.
• In-depth working knowledge of Qlik.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, including understanding of partitions, leaders, and replicators.
• Proficiency with RDBMS and Hibernate.
• Experience deploying and managing workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and communicate solutions to business stakeholders.
• Experience working within Scrum and Agile methodologies.
