Description

You will own the end-to-end development of QlikView and Qlik Sense applications, including migrating legacy QlikView solutions to the modern Qlik Sense platform. You are responsible for gathering business requirements, identifying data sources, and building optimized data models using Qlik's 3-tier architecture methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models using Star and Snowflake schemas, creating QVDs, QVWs, and QVFs from multiple source systems.
• Build and maintain incremental data load scripts, handling complex transformations using Set Analysis, Date/Time functions, and advanced aggregation.
• Migrate existing QlikView applications to Qlik Sense, ensuring performance tuning, error handling, and adherence to development standards.
• Create and deploy NPrinting reports in HTML, Excel, Word, and PDF formats, including On-Demand reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Operations Data and Analytics team through daily huddles and weekly meetings to track progress and meet project timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and development, with deep expertise in QlikView and Qlik Sense.
• Strong proficiency in Qlik's 3-tier architecture (Data-Extraction, Data-Modeling, Application Development).
• Hands-on experience connecting to and extracting data from Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, and REST API sources.
• Advanced scripting skills, including Set Analysis, Interval Match, Mapping, Join, and Keep functions.
• Experience with NPrinting for report generation and distribution across multiple formats.
• Proven track record of migrating QlikView apps to Qlik Sense while maintaining performance and functionality.
• Understanding of software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Qlik Connectors for additional data source integration.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling best practices for fact and dimension tables.
