Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software for routers and switches, focusing on Quality of Service (QoS) functionality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain high-quality code in C, C++, and Python for embedded systems.
• Implement and manage QoS components including policy maps, class maps, WRRED, and RDMA.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software stability and performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues within device drivers and router/switch software.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems programming for routers or switches.
• Expert-level proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Deep understanding of QoS technical areas, specifically policy maps, class maps, WRRED, and RDMA.
• Hands-on experience with device driver development.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for embedded software environments.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, and Co-pilot.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
