Description

You will manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle for Java programs running on distributed platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements to develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
  • Execute test program changes, update test files, and review results to ensure correctness against requirements.
  • Perform data verification and complex queries using Postgres and DB2.
  • Prepare program-level and user-level documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and debug software to meet required outcomes and production standards.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience testing Java programs.
  • Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres database technologies.
  • Strong ability to write, execute, and perform integration testing.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira.
  • Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Analytical skills for troubleshooting non-database functions and correcting data errors.
  • Experience following organizational procedures for source code management and change migration.
  • Ability to obtain user sign-off on changes prior to production deployment.

Preferred Skills

  • Java programming knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Kofax.
