Description

You will own quality assurance for Java programs on distributed platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, and review results to ensure requirement correctness.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug computer software to achieve required outcomes.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Organize and guide teams to meet testing goals and deadlines transparently.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience testing Java programs.
• Proven experience working with DB2 and Postgres, including queries and data verification.
• Solid understanding of the full SDLC, including test case writing, execution, integration testing, and deployment.
• Experience using the Jira tool.
• Strong analytical skills for non-database functions, data error correction, and report generation.
• Excellent communication skills to secure user sign-off on all changes before production deployment.
• Capability to follow procedures for source code checkout and change migration.

Preferred Skills

• AWS hands-on experience.
• Kofax experience.
