Description

You will own the quality assurance process for Java programs running on distributed platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, and review results against requirements.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Organize and guide teams to meet testing goals and deadlines through clear communication.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug computer software to achieve required outcomes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing Java programs.
• Proven experience with database technologies, specifically DB2 and Postgres, including query execution and data verification.
• Hands-on experience utilizing the Jira tool.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including integration testing.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Strong analytical skills for data error correction and generating summary reports.
