Description

You will own the testing lifecycle for Java applications across distributed platforms and mainframe environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to create detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute program changes, update test files, and validate results against defined requirements.
• Identify, log, and debug software defects to ensure correct program outcomes.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
• Manage testing goals and deadlines through clear communication and team guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing Java programs.
• Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres, including queries and data verification.
• Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle, including integration testing and deployment.
• Experience using Jira for defect tracking and management.
• Proficiency in performing data analysis and generating summary reports to correct data errors.
• Experience with JCL on IBM/DELL mainframe operating systems.
• Ability to follow organizational procedures for source code check-out and change migration.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Kofax.
