Description

You will perform quality assurance testing on Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, and review results against requirements.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Organize and guide teams to meet testing goals and deadlines transparently.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience testing Java programs.
• Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres, including complex querying and data verification.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, covering test case writing, execution, integration, and deployment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software to achieve required outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills for non-database functions, error correction, and generating summary reports.
• Experience creating documentation for both program and user levels.
• Excellent communication skills to secure user sign-off before production deployment.
• Capability to follow organizational procedures for source code checkout and change migration.
