Description

You will own quality assurance testing for Java applications, ensuring requirements are met through rigorous validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Execute test programs, update test files, and review results against specifications.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation supporting the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug software to achieve required outcomes and correct errors.
• Organize and guide teams to meet testing goals and deadlines transparently.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing Java applications.
• Proven experience with DB2 and Postgres, including complex querying and data verification.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, covering test case writing, execution, integration, and deployment.
• Experience with AWS, Kofax, and Jira.
• Strong analytical skills for non-database functions and generating summary reports.
• Ability to follow organizational procedures for source code checkout and change migration.
• Excellent communication skills to secure user sign-off before production deployment.
