Description

You will execute testing activities for Java programs on distributed platforms to ensure software correctness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute program changes, update test files, and review results against requirements.
• Perform data verification and queries using Postgres and DB2.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation to support the SDLC.
• Manage testing goals and provide guidance to teams to meet deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing Java programs.
• 5+ years of proven experience with DB2 and Postgres.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug computer software.
• Solid understanding of the full SDLC, including integration testing and deployment.
• Experience using Jira for test management.
• Capability to follow procedures for checking out source code and migrating changes.
• Analytical skills for correcting data errors and developing summary reports.
• Strong communication skills to obtain user sign-off prior to production moves.

Preferred Skills

• Java programming knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Kofax experience.
