Description

You will own the end-to-end quality assurance process for backend and data-driven applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prioritize, and execute test cases, reporting defects with specific severity and priority levels.
• Build and implement automated tests using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Integrate quality engineering practices into CI/CD pipelines, including version control and automation framework integration.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure compatibility with existing product features.
• Collaborate with scrum teams to groom user stories, develop acceptance criteria, and document test results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including 5+ years as a Backend, Database, EDW, or ETL tester.
• 4+ years of advanced SQL skills and experience with RDBMS such as Teradata.
• 4+ years of experience in UI, smoke, end-to-end, and integration testing.
• 4+ years of experience in test design using a Test Management tool.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Java, Cucumber (BDD), and Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD environments like Jenkins and version control via GitHub.
• Strong understanding of Bronze/Silver/Gold data architecture in platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.
• Ability to work with complex XML, JSON, and EDI X12 transactions.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex technical problems.

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare domain experience involving Medicaid/Medicare claims or EDI X12 transactions (999, 837, 834, 277) or HL7.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and DevOps tools.
