Description

You will manage product quality and reliability throughout the NPI lifecycle and production stages.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain controls and documented procedures for NPI product quality and reliability.
• Execute initiatives to eliminate quality and reliability issues and support development and production teams.
• Develop and maintain product performance dashboard metrics for the first 12 months post-launch.
• Provide technical support for failure analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and statistical sampling plans.
• Perform root cause analysis down to the chemistry and physics of failures for electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.

Required Skills

• 10 to 12 years of progressive experience in reliability engineering or reliability-centered quality work for networking products.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an applied science or engineering field.
• Proficiency with Reliasoft Lambda Predict.
• Strong statistical, data analysis, and investigative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Design for Reliability processes and quality improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to work directly with hardware, software, and mechanical development teams.
• Experience providing reliability inputs for supplier quality and business reviews.
• Ability to travel when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hardware product MTBF prediction.
• Knowledge of reliability testing such as HALT, HAST, ORT, and Fault Insertion Testing.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and Design for Excellence methodologies.
