Description

You will perform quality assurance requirements and support user acceptance testing for software coding changes within Medicaid systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test scenarios to validate coding changes.
• Execute tests and analyze results to identify discrepancies between actual and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve differences in test results.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by working directly with SCDHHS.
• Interface with external healthcare providers, trading partners, and other agencies as required.

Required Skills

• Mainframe environments, specifically MVS COBOL and JCL.
• Software testing methodologies and creation of test scenarios.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Any graduate education level.

Preferred Skills

• CA-ADS and SQL.
• Serena ChangeMan or similar change control tools.
