Description

You will own the quality assurance lifecycle for software applications, translating business requirements into rigorous test plans. You design and execute test cases for UI, regression, and usability testing to ensure reliability and stability. You lead quality assessments to identify security flaws, defects, and optimization opportunities. You develop automated testing scripts and maintain comprehensive documentation, reports, and defect databases. You coordinate with product development teams to recommend solutions that maximize performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and policy documentation into detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Design, build, and execute test systems including UI and regression testing.
• Implement quality assurance programs covering negative testing and usability assessments.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, reports, and defect tracking databases.
• Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections to adhere to governance standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios.
• 3+ years building test cases and scenarios into test systems.
• 2+ years of experience testing IBM Curam software.
• Ability to communicate status reports of open issues and articulate details to development teams.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of software testing governance policies and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing script creation and oversight.
• Ability to identify security flaws and areas for optimization.
