Description

Own the quality assurance lifecycle for technical applications, from test planning to defect reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and policy documentation into detailed test cases and scenarios.
• Design, support, and execute UI, regression, and negative testing for software applications.
• Lead quality assessments to identify defects, security vulnerabilities, and optimization areas.
• Create and maintain automated testing scripts under oversight for deployment.
• Maintain defect databases, document test scenarios, and publish status reports to development teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and test systems.
• 2+ years of experience testing IBM Curam software.
• Proficiency in Atlassian tools, specifically JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong ability to communicate and articulate open issues and gaps to development teams.
• Experience adhering to software testing governance policies and best practices.
• Ability to coordinate with product development teams to recommend performance solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (years of experience may substitute).

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid.
• Experience working in standard SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile delivery methods.
