Description

You will own the testing strategy and execution for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) modernization program.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processes for functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, design, and test cases while creating and maintaining QA documentation.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution and retesting.
• Design and implement manual and automated testing scripts to ensure application reliability.
• Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections to ensure quality compliance and adherence to governance policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, specifically the Medicaid domain.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes, including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with manual and/or automated testing tools and methodologies.
• Proven ability to track, analyze, and report defects and testing status effectively.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for stakeholder reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
• 5+ years working in large enterprise or e-business environments.
• Prior experience in government or healthcare projects.
