Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, API, performance, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Execute predefined test cases as well as conduct unscripted exploratory testing to uncover potential defects.
• Translate high-level business and functional requirements into detailed and effective testing requirements.
• Develop, execute, maintain, and monitor automated test scripts as needed.
• Work with automation technologies such as Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, and AI-assisted testing.
• Validate application functionality, reliability, performance, usability, and overall quality.
• Identify, document, investigate, and track defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot defects and determine potential root causes.
• Use developer and diagnostic tools to investigate issues, including:
• Google DevTools
• Application logs
• HTTP requests and responses
• Stack traces
• Heap dumps
• Recommend and monitor preventive and corrective actions to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Identify potential quality risks, evaluate their impact and likelihood, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Proactively identify potential issues early in the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and compile statistical and quality-related data.
• Evaluate whether applications and services meet defined business and user expectations.
• Investigate customer complaints, application issues, and product/service quality concerns.
• Support ongoing compliance with applicable quality standards and industry requirements.
• Develop and maintain QA policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Utilize test management tools such as Zephyr Scale, GitLab, and similar platforms for test tracking and defect management.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases as part of testing and data validation activities.
• Analyze and profile production data to support testing requirements.
• Work with test data management and data governance platforms.
• Design realistic performance test scenarios, including user journeys, test data parameterization, and load models.
• Apply appropriate test design techniques, including Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning.
• Participate in Agile development and cross-functional team activities.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional experience in quality assurance, quality inspection, auditing, software testing, or a related discipline.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with QA applications and databases.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
