Description

Own manual and automated API testing within a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, strategies, scenarios, and test cases for APIs.
• Execute tests and manage defects using Jira.
• Implement and maintain API test automation scripts for backend microservices.
• Analyze logs using Splunk to identify patterns, errors, and facilitate troubleshooting.
• Monitor services in production using Splunk and report test metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in manual API testing.
• Proficiency with API testing tools including Postman and CURL.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Jira for defect management.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Splunk for log analysis and monitoring.
• Understanding of sequence diagrams.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API performance testing.
• Exposure to Python and Shell Scripting for developing testing tools.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and test data management.
