Description

You will provide QA testing and domain expertise for an Equity Derivatives trading platform.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing activities for BFSI applications by analyzing BRDs, FSDs, and user manuals.
• Manage the defect lifecycle by articulating detailed reports, assigning issues to technical teams, and tracking resolution dates.
• Collaborate with Business stakeholders for test case reviews and IT teams for deployments and fixes.
• Drive project initiatives independently by planning activities against established milestones.
• Coordinate with Project and Program Managers to ensure clear communication across the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT testing experience within the Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI).
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets, specifically Derivatives including Bonds, Options, Futures, and Swaps.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Trade Lifecycle and Front/Middle Office operations.
• Experience testing applications using the FIX Protocol.
• Practical knowledge of at least one trading platform such as Fidessa, Calypso, or Summit.
• Strong understanding of core Software Testing principles.
• Proficiency with SQL and Windows environments.
• Ability to work independently to manage communications and project timelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing technical and domain guidance to junior team members.
