Description

You will own data integrity across Azure Synapse pipelines and data lakes through rigorous validation and testing.

You will review and validate SQL and ETL output to confirm data accuracy and alignment with business rules. Develop and execute data test plans, cases, and validation scripts for Azure Synapse pipelines and stored procedures. Reconcile data across source systems, staging areas, and curated layers in Azure Data Lake or Synapse. Conduct regression testing on modified pipelines or data models to confirm no new issues arise. Collaborate with engineers and analysts to document and resolve data discrepancies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for data validation.
• Experience with Python for testing support.
• Knowledge of Data Pipelines and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Automated Testing frameworks.
• Proven ability in Data Validation and reconciliation.
• Experience promoting Continuous Improvement in QA processes.
• Strong collaboration skills working with technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake.
