Description

You will own the design and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, service, and database testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve automation frameworks using Java, C#, TypeScript, or Python, leveraging tools like Playwright, Cypress, and RestAssured.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) with defined quality gates and dashboards.
• Author automation for end-to-end payment journeys, validating file and real-time rails (e.g., ISO 20022, FedNow).
• Build automation for non-functional testing, including performance, soak, and chaos/failover scenarios.

Required Skills

• 7–10+ years in test automation, with 5+ years focused on banking or payments platforms.
• Strong proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools like Playwright or Cypress, and API testing tools like RestAssured or Postman.
• Experience validating message schemas (JSON, XML, ISO 20022) and handling asynchronous/event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Solid grasp of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, alongside Git and Docker/K8s.
• Proven capability with SQL and at least one NoSQL database (e.g., Mongo).
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana and Splunk to correlate test runs with system telemetry.
• Understanding of SWIFT/ISO 20022 principles, fraud controls, and secure testing practices.
