Description

You will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, service, and database testing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve automation frameworks using Java, C#, TypeScript, or Python with Playwright, Cypress, and RestAssured.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) with quality gates and dashboards.
• Author automation for end-to-end payment journeys, validating real-time rails like ISO 20022 and FedNow.
• Implement non-functional testing for performance, soak, and chaos/failover scenarios.
• Correlate test runs with system telemetry using observability tools.

Required Skills

• 7–10+ years in test automation, with 5+ years focused on banking or payments platforms.
• Strong proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation (Playwright, Cypress) and API testing (RestAssured, Postman).
• Experience validating message schemas (JSON, XML, ISO 20022) and handling asynchronous systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Solid grasp of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, alongside Git and Docker/K8s.
• Proven capability with SQL and at least one NoSQL database (e.g., Mongo).
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana and Splunk.
• Understanding of SWIFT/ISO 20022 principles, fraud controls, and secure testing practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architectures in payment systems.
