Quality Assurance Engineer

You will manage the planning, execution, and recap of software testing to ensure quality safeguards are integrated into the development and deployment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across all project phases, including requirement reviews, test script preparation, and execution.
• Translate design, UX, and requirements into actionable test cases, including positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
• Execute system integration testing and regular regression testing of system functions.
• Manage test data harvesting and organize disparate systems with complex timing or data dependencies.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, PMs, and engineers to identify risks related to technical debt or schedule slippage.
• Estimate QA effort, manage PLC tollgates, and report on overall application and project health.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing roles.
• Proficiency with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage traceability, test coverage, and test result triage.
• Experience managing requirements within Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Selenium or WebDriverIO scripting experience.
• Experience using Xray for Jira test case management.
