The role involves building automation using Playwright and contributing to automation frameworks. Additionally, defining and executing test strategies across application layers is crucial. Performing exploratory testing to uncover issues and ensuring proper test coverage for new features are also key tasks.

Essential Skills:

Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of performance or load testing tools can enhance the testing process. Familiarity with observability and quality metrics practices is beneficial for maintaining software quality. Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems is a plus for handling complex applications. Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer is essential, with strong hands-on experience in Playwright for UI and API testing. Solid programming skills in Java are required for developing test frameworks. A strong understanding of test design and strategies is crucial for effective testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies is also necessary for seamless integration into the development process
