Description

Lead end-to-end testing and quality assurance for streaming features across iOS, Android, Smart TVs, Roku, and tvOS.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate end-to-end testing and manage test plans for multi-platform feature delivery.
• Lead a team of QA Engineers to coordinate testing efforts and provide accurate resource forecasts.
• Classify and triage defects in JIRA to prioritize, isolate, and replicate issues.
• Report test execution status to Test, Project, and Release Managers to ensure deployment verification.
• Participate in Technical Development Analysis meetings to estimate QA efforts and delivery timelines.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and test management tools like TestRail, Quality Center, or Xray.
• Proficiency with JIRA board management and Confluence.
• Proficiency with Splunk or similar logging tools and analyzing server logs.
• Practical knowledge of networking, SSL, firewalls, CDN, and DRM.
• Experience building test plans and coordinating QA/UAT with functional teams.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and SDLC, specifically for streaming media or OTT applications.
• Knowledge of Connected Device/OTT platforms including tvOS, Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Xbox One, and PS4.
• Understanding of end-to-end systems workflows and video/media playback applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles.
• Experience testing Commerce, Infrastructure, and Security.
