Description

Lead testing teams and manage software quality assurance for enterprise financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Formulate testing strategies and plans for new or existing software environments.
• Lead small to moderate sized testing teams through the software development lifecycle.
• Perform software system development related to enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Provide software and system support for break/fix and bug repair.
• Develop maintenance documentation for coding changes and bug resolutions.

Required Skills

• 9 years of experience in software quality assurance or related areas.
• 3 years of experience with the operations and maintenance of enterprise financial systems.
• Senior level COBOL programming experience, including upgrading COBOL versions and managing compiler changes.
• Proficiency with Sort, SyncSort, and ICETOOL.
• Experience with mainframe programming using JAVA.
• Proficiency in VSAM data maintenance and manipulation using IDCAMS.
• Knowledge of DB2 for z/OS, including making schema changes.
• Experience working within CICS environments for maintenance and updates.
• Proficiency with REXX development on the mainframe.
• Experience with Easytrieve reporting software and connecting to DB2 and PSDs.
• Competency with PanValet version control.

Preferred Skills

• Assist developers with test-driven development and provide informal coaching to support personnel.
