Lead testing teams and manage software quality assurance for enterprise financial systems in Harrisburg, PA.

Responsibilities

• Formulate testing strategies and plans from the ground up.
• Lead small to moderate sized testing teams through software system development, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Provide quality assurance and testing for code changes, including break/fix and bug repairs.
• Collaborate with developers on test-driven development and provide technical coaching to support personnel.
• Develop maintenance documentation for coding changes and bug resolutions.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in software quality assurance or related technical areas.
• Senior-level COBOL programming experience, including upgrading COBOL versions and managing compiler changes.
• Proficiency in JAVA programming on the mainframe.
• Experience with DB2 for z/OS, including making schema changes.
• Proficiency with REXX development on the mainframe.
• Experience with VSAM data manipulation using IDCAMS.
• Proficiency with Sort, SyncSort, and ICETOOL.
• Experience working within CICS environments for maintenance and updates.
• Experience with PanValeet version control.
• Ability to use Easytrieve reporting software to manipulate data connecting to DB2 and PSDs.

Preferred Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in the operations and maintenance of enterprise financial systems.
