Lead testing teams and define software quality assurance strategies for enterprise financial systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Formulate testing strategies and plans for new or existing projects.
• Communicate testing activities to business and technical stakeholders.
• Assist developers with test-driven development practices.
• Coach agency support personnel on system functions.
• Perform software system development for enhancements and upgrades.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in software quality assurance or related area.
• Senior level COBOL programming experience, including upgrading versions and managing compiler changes.
• Proficiency in JAVA programming on the mainframe.
• Experience with DB2 for z/OS, including making schema changes.
• Proficiency with REXX development on the mainframe.
• Experience with CICS environments for maintenance and updates.
• Proficiency in VSAM data maintenance and manipulation using IDCAMS.
• Proficiency with Sort, SyncSort, and ICETOOL.
• Experience with PanValeet version control.
• Experience with Easytrieve reporting software and connecting to DB2 and PSDs.
• Three years of experience in operations and maintenance of enterprise financial systems.
