Lead food safety and quality assurance functions to ensure compliance with FDA Food Code and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead food safety and quality assurance functions to ensure compliance with FDA Food Code and regulatory standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits, compile reports, and execute corrective action plans through root cause analysis.
• Oversee customer, government, third-party, and SQF Program audits while managing compliance updates.
• Supervise, coach, and train quality technicians and manage the departmental quality team.
• Inspect products, processes, and metrics to identify quality improvement opportunities and risks.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of food production experience, or a college degree with 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• 3 years of experience managing a team of 3 or more people.
• HACCP, PCQI, and SQF certifications.
• Deep knowledge of HACCP and GMP guidelines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Email, MS Access Database, Power BI Platform, and Sage 300 ERP.
• Strong math, reading comprehension, and analytical skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual skills in English, Chinese, or Spanish.
