Description

You will lead the quality and sanitation functions to ensure food safety compliance and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of quality and sanitation professionals.
• Monitor Quality Systems to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements for all in-process and finished goods.
• Lead the Integrated Lean Six Sigma Quality Pillar to drive a defect eradication culture.
• Maintain HACCP and pre-requisite food safety programs.
• Develop and track quality KPIs and lead monthly management system reviews with plant leadership.
• Own customer and consumer complaint investigations and lead SSMT investigations.
• Implement Consumer Inspired Quality programs, including sensory programs and analytical equipment maintenance.
• Drive a Corrective and Preventative Action program to support Daily Management Systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Quality experience in the food or pharma industry.
• 5+ years in a demonstrated leadership position within a manufacturing plant.
• BS in Food Science or a related field.
• Experience with GFSI (FSSC), Organic, Kosher, and Rainforest Alliance implementation and compliance.
• Experience with sanitation, food defense systems, and compliance systems.
• Proficiency in statistical processes and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with auditing, budgeting, and managing service-vendor technical equipment.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact with regulatory representatives.
