Description

You will perform quality assurance checks on InDesign documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.

Responsibilities

• Review layouts, typography, images, and formatting to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Verify alignment, spacing, and formatting against brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Collaborate with designers and editors to resolve issues and implement corrections.
• Create and maintain QA checklists, documentation, and issue tracking logs.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the production team.
• Identify ways to streamline workflows and optimize the InDesign production process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles.
• Demonstrated expertise using InDesign software for layout design and document creation.
• Strong eye for detail regarding text, design elements, and formatting issues.
• Familiarity with typography, color theory, and layout best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for delivering QA feedback.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot QA issues and propose process improvements.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in a design or publishing environment.
