Description

You will own the quality assurance strategy for Java-based applications, leading the transition from manual to automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale automation frameworks from scratch using Java.
• Lead the adoption of BDD practices using Cucumber and Gherkin for test strategy.
• Execute comprehensive API testing for REST and SOAP services.
• Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Manage project builds and dependencies using Maven and Gradle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber and BDD methodologies.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
• Proven track record in API testing (REST/SOAP).
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience participating in code reviews and architectural discussions within Scrum teams.
