Description

Perform hardware testing and validation for PCBAs and electronic devices in Westborough, MA.

Responsibilities

• Identify use cases, create test cases, and execute tests throughout the development cycle.
• Read electrical schematics to perform board re-works and fixture fabrication.
• Execute documented test procedures, collect data, and document test artifacts.
• Troubleshoot electronic devices under test and report results to developers and product managers.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and stakeholders to ensure production environment stability.

Required Skills

• 1+ years experience testing hardware, including PCBAs.
• Proficiency using oscilloscopes, data acquisition devices, digital multi-meters, signal generators, and spectrum analysers.
• Ability to perform board-level soldering and fixture fabrication based on schematics.
• Experience using standard electrical test and laboratory equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic devices.
• Background in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Experience with QA processes and the Hardware Development Life Cycle (HDLC).
