Description

You will manage AS9102 compliant First Article Inspections (FAI) and technical documentation within a manufacturing environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Preplan AS9102 compliant FAIs using planning documents and 2D/3D engineering drawings.
• Develop and customize AS9102 Forms #1, 2, and 3 to meet specific customer requirements.
• Create ballooned drawings that link engineering features to appropriate FAI form entries.
• Prepare and maintain FAI metrics while standardizing plans based on part families.
• Perform FAI reviews within Net-inspect and automate planning processes to reduce errors.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related technical role.
• Direct experience with FAI and AS9102 compliance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Experience with RCA, problem solving, and risk mitigation.
• Background in Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical industries.
• Experience performing reviews in Net-inspect.

Preferred Skills

• Prior manufacturing experience.
