Description

Own the automation testing strategy for a web application with a React frontend and RESTful backend.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using modular frameworks.
• Author test cases, execute tests, and provide feedback during requirements analysis.
• Improve code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage.
• Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
• Automate REST and SOAP integration tests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of QA experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 3+ years writing Selenium tests in Java or JavaScript.
• 3+ years with test runners (JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, or Jasmine).
• 3+ years with build automation tools (Maven or Gradle).
• 3+ years with REST/SOAP automation (Rest Assured, CA Dev Test, SOAP UI Pro, or Postman).
• 3+ years writing SQL queries for database table validation.
• 3+ years with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab).
• 1+ years with Selenium Grid and JMeter.
• Proficiency with Jira or Rally for defect tracking and Quality Center/ALM for test case management.

Preferred Skills

• Recent experience utilizing Selenium and Agile methodologies.
