Description

Inspect complex parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on complex parts and assemblies.
• Perform mechanical inspections using height gages, digital calipers, micrometers, and typical shop gauging.
• Interpret blueprints, machine shop drawings, and GD&T requirements to verify part dimensions.
• Write technical documentation, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain production quality and improve inspection best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality control or inspection.
• Proficiency with height gages, digital calipers, and micrometers.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and machine shop drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience working within ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
• Ability to write technical NCR and CAR documentation.
• Capability to lift material up to 40lb.
