Description

Lead and manage the quality program for the Akron, OH manufacturing facility, ensuring assembly operations meet company and customer specifications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the plant's quality program to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead new process implementation for new product launches.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide process recommendations.
• Participate in customer meetings, quality reporting, and management reviews.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector with an engineering or production background.
• Proven focus on quality metrics.
• Experience with formal Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement projects.
• Proficiency with Minitab or other statistical software packages.
• BS/BA from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification.
• Technical degree.
