Description

You will own the quality engineering architecture and automated testing frameworks for complex software projects. You lead the integration of Test-Driven Development (TDD) into the development lifecycle and mentor junior engineers to elevate team standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed TDD practices and quality gates into the SDLC.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for diverse applications.
• Analyze test results to identify quality gaps and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of rigorous quality engineering.

Required Skills

• Strong experience designing automated testing frameworks with Java and Selenium.
• Proven expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and integrating quality into the lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of software design and development principles from a quality engineering perspective.
• Experience working as an SDET in agile environments.
• Ability to develop and maintain detailed test plans and scripts.
• Proficiency in analyzing test results and identifying quality defects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python for test automation or scripting.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.
