Description

You will own quality assurance processes, reduce non-conformance, and lead corrective and preventative action programs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain corrective and preventative programs to reduce scrap and rework.
• Conduct internal audits and manage customer returns through the material review process.
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities and support customer quality audits.
• Create and update quality program procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
• Train operators and inspectors on quality standards and equipment usage.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methods and quality assurance standards.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex parts and process issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with aerospace or elastomer/plastics manufacturing preferred.

Preferred Skills

• ASQ certifications (Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, or Quality Manager).
• Lean and Six Sigma certifications.
