Description

You will own quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
• Perform GD&T analysis and use PolyWorks for 3D measurement and part validation.
• Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) to resolve quality issues.
• Serve as a technical resource for metrology, SPC, and MSA (Gauge R&R) studies.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce scrap, rework, and process variation.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field).
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably in automotive.
• Proficiency in GD&T and AIAG Core Tools.
• Experience with metrology software.
• Proficiency in PolyWorks.
• Proficiency in MiniTab or advanced Excel for statistical analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CMM programming or 3D scanning.
• Knowledge of 6S, welding processes, or Design of Experiments (DOE).
