Description

You will drive continuous improvement within the material testing value stream through data-driven analysis and process mapping.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform video time studies to baseline the material testing value stream from raw material receipt to product release.
• Map product testing details across the Georgia Campus and finished good testing sites.
• Identify improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma and Demand Flow tools.
• Manage capital investment requirements for new laboratory test equipment and technology.
• Execute equipment qualification and test method validation following established guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or continuous improvement roles.
• Proficiency with Minitab for statistical analysis.
• Experience with statistical sample size determination and justification.
• Background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with equipment qualification and test method validation.
• Project management experience or certification.
• Experience managing Engineering Change Orders and change projects.

Preferred Skills

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) designation.
• Demand Flow Technology training or certification.
