Description

You will own the quality assurance and automation strategy for data systems, ensuring rigorous testing standards across the release pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular functional automation test scripts using Selenium and Java/JavaScript.
• Execute comprehensive test suites including smoke, regression, integration, and end-to-end validations.
• Perform back-end database validation using SQL to verify data integrity.
• Manage test coverage through risk-based analysis and coordinate test script reviews with stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement and design reviews to evaluate quality test automation standards from the outset.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of QA experience, with 5+ years specifically writing Selenium tests in Java or JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency with Web Driver, Web Driver IO, Marathon, or Appium.
• Experience with test runners such as JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, or Jasmine.
• Hands-on experience with CI tools including Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab.
• Familiarity with Selenium Grid and test environment/data management.
• Proficient in defect tracking and root cause analysis using Jira or Rally.
• Demonstrated experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies on remote teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing concepts and approaches.
• Strong communication skills to challenge norms and improve QA processes.
