Description

You will manage quality engineering efforts for news websites, subscription products, and streaming media across desktop and mobile platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing for SEO, ads, metrics, and video players including live and on-demand streaming.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Perform performance testing to measure server and client-side metrics.
• Utilize debugging, monitoring, and test management tools to ensure software quality throughout the lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and QE testing.
• 3+ years of experience in QE automation.
• 3+ years of experience testing news websites, subscription products, SEO, ads, and streaming media.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Experience with version control using GIT and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and build tools like Maven or ANT.
• Proficiency with debugging tools like Charles or Fiddler.
• Experience with monitoring tools (New Relic), JIRA, and TestRail.

Preferred Skills

• B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
