Description

Own the test automation strategy and execution for UI, API, and backend layers using Python and Playwright.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright for UI and backend validation.
• Execute end-to-end testing across UI, API, and backend layers to ensure system reliability.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data, troubleshoot issues, and verify test results.
• Validate data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Identify defects, track them, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python-based automation using Playwright.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience validating data pipelines/ETL processes.
• Experience working within Agile and Azure-based environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with framework enhancements to improve test coverage and maintainability.
