Description

Test Planning

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and feature specifications.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases covering various aspects of Audio & Video Enterprise APIs.
• Assess the quality of generated output and certify overall functionality.

Test Execution

• Execute manual and automated tests to verify API functionality, quality, usability, and performance.
• Identify and report software defects, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Document test results and maintain accurate defect records.

Automation

• Develop and maintain test automation scripts to accelerate testing and ensure consistent test coverage.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for efficient regression testing.
• Maintain and enhance automation scripts as product features evolve.

Performance Testing

• Conduct load testing, stress testing, and performance testing to evaluate API efficiency.
• Measure resource utilization, response times, scalability, and system stability.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization opportunities.

Usability Testing

• Assess API documentation to identify usability issues and suggest improvements.
• Evaluate the API integration experience and recommend enhancements for seamless adoption.

Regression Testing

• Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
• Maintain regression test suites and execute automated regression tests as part of CI/CD workflows.

Documentation

• Maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results for traceability and future reference.
• Document defects, test evidence, execution status, and resolution details.
• Maintain QA documentation and testing artifacts.

Communication

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to discuss and prioritize bug fixes and improvements.
• Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, identified issues, risks, and quality status.
• Participate in requirement reviews, defect triage, sprint planning, and release discussions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Software Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role, preferably with a focus on audio/video or multimedia applications.
• Strong knowledge of video editing concepts, codecs, and multimedia file formats.
• Experience with Audio & Video APIs, multimedia workflows, or related applications.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Strong understanding of API testing, automation testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven approach.
